Following Final Investment Decision for the Delfin LNG Project, we are strengthening our Oslo-based project execution organisation. We are looking for capable, curious and delivery-oriented professionals who want to contribute to the development and execution of large-scale floating LNG infrastructure from concept and engineering through construction, commissioning and operations readiness.

The roles

• Offers significant exposure to an international project environment and an opportunity to contribute directly to the successful development of new FLNG Vessel projects collaborating closely with project technical and execution teams and the finance and commercial leads
• You will contribute to the project design, engineering, business development, commercial negotiations of new Deepwater Port projects in North America
• You will work closely with internal stakeholders, commercial counterparties, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and partners to develop safe, efficient, and competitive new projects
• You will be part of the Oslo based project execution team and will work closely with the international team and regular international travel is expected.

Key responsibilities and tasks

• Initiate, contract and manage FLNG design & engineering studies (pre-FEED and FEED)
• EPCI negotiations
• Project development cost, schedule and performance assessment
• Cooperate with commercial and financial teams to structure and execute pre-FID work
• Cooperate and support Deepwater Port development and permitting work
• Technology, innovations, equipment and vendor assessments
• Collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines, project functions, and external stakeholders
• You will be part of the Oslo based technical, execution and pre-operations organisation, and you will report to the COO

Your background and skills

The ideal candidate combines strong technical competence with project and execution experience

• Minimum ~6 years of relevant experience from floating project development work in front-end position
• Experience from design & engineering
• Experience from cost estimations, commercial and financial modelling
• Experience managing shipyards and major engineering contractors
• Creative and innovative thinking resulting in strategic and valued proposals
• Solid competence within one or more core disciplines, combined with the strong ability to work effectively across disciplines and project functions using all-round skills
• Excellent communication, cooperation and presentation skills
• Strong ability to engage and take initiatives

Education

Master’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent relevant education and experience.

Delfin Midstream is a private US company that owns the “Delfin LNG Project”. Delfin LNG is an LNG export project offshore Louisiana which uses floating LNG technology to produce LNG from US natural gas. The project took its Final Investment Decision (FID) in June 2026. The technical, execution and pre-ops team is located in Oslo, Norway and is responsible for all development work and the execution of the project, with additional teams in the US and at the shipyard in South Korea (SHI).
