Manager, Product Line and Quality – a broad, visible role shaping NEOT’s renewed product line and quality management operating model

NEOT Oy is looking for a senior professional to lead product line and quality management in a role with broad business impact across a large Nordic and international supply-chain environment. This is an excellent opportunity to shape a renewed operating model, work closely across NEOT and its customers and partners, St1 and ABC Retail in particular, and see tangible results in a focused expert organization.

Key accountabilities

• Own the full lifecycle of NEOT product portfolio / key product lines.
• Define and develop product line & quality strategy, including long-term roadmap, market positioning and differentiation.
• Lead lifecycle management from opportunity identification to eventual phase-out.
• Drive value creation and growth through proactive product line management.
• Oversee and ensure that all NEOT products meet safety, performance and regulatory standards throughout the supply chain.
• Ensure quality compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and NEOT standards.
• Safeguard product integrity across raw materials, blended and marketed products.
• Lead audits, inspections and continuous improvement activities, both external and internal.
• Develop and manage NEOT product line and quality processes, KPIs and ways of working.

In this role, you will

• Create material value for NEOT by identifying product line opportunities through market analysis of industry and regulatory trends, competitor offerings, customer needs and NEOT’s own capabilities.
• Provide cross-functional leadership across the supply chain and work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure the adequacy and management of quality analysis, testing and auditing protocols, including vendor and supplier quality.
• Lead non-conformance and product quality complaint management, root-cause investigations and cost-effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Take responsibility for relevant regulatory reporting and represent NEOT in selected product quality forums.
• Contribute to inspection contracts and tendering from a product quality perspective.
• Monitor and develop KPIs for product line management and quality compliance/performance.
• Support a business environment where quality, compliance, commercial priorities and operational practicality are aligned.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a technically credible, business-oriented professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You are comfortable working at both big-picture and detailed levels, communicating effectively across functions, and bringing a resilient can-do attitude.

• Relevant engineering degree, for example in chemical, process, mechanical or petroleum engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in product line and quality management.
• Solid understanding of product quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience from the oil industry is highly valued; experience in product lifecycle and quality management in environments shaped by energy transition goals is also valued. Relevant backgrounds may include energy and chemicals, process industry, logistics, or other complex supply. 
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English.
• Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to lead multiple topics in parallel.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build credibility across technical, commercial, and operational interfaces.

The role is based in Helsinki and requires regular on-site presence. Travel is part of the role, and especially in the initial phase, visits to operational sites and key partners located in Finland, Sweden and Norway may be required.
