STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TAKES A LOT OF EFFORT AND TIME FROM BOTH SIDES. WHEN THERE IS WILL AND DETERMINATION, HOWEVER, THERE ARE A LOT OF REWARDS IN THE PROCESS, BOTH FOR THE CLIENT AND FOR US.
I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT ONE OF THOSE RELATIONSHIPS HERE. THE RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS CLIENT HAS PERSEVERED FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS NOW. IT’S HAD ITS UPS AND DOWNS, BUT OUR WORK WITH THEM UNDERSCORES THE IMPORTANCE OF STAYING CLOSE AND BEING CONNECTED DESPITE IN CHANGING POLITICAL ENVIRONMENT AND PRIORITIES.
WHAT DO I THINK THIS RELATIONSHIP SAYS ABOUT MERCURI URVAL? IT’S ALL ABOUT OUR STRATEGIC COMMITMENT. IT HAS A LOT TO DO WITH BEING CLOSE WITH THE CLIENTS; IN ALL COUNTRIES THAT IS RELEVANT FOR THE CLIENT. WE CALL THIS THE DIAMOND MODEL ENGAGEMENT. IT ENCOMPASSES BOTH ADDITIONAL CAPABILITIES AND PLACES TO ENABLE A JOINT FOOTPRINT GLOBALLY. WE EVEN OPENED OFFICES IN LOCATIONS WHERE WE DID NOT HAVE A PRESENCE BEFORE TO GO TOGETHER WITH THE CLIENT.
OUR RELATIONSHIP IS A COMBINATION OF MANY DIFFERENT ELEMENTS. IT’S A HUGE BUSINESS IN DENMARK. THAT’S WHERE WE STARTED, WHERE THE COMPANY WAS A PIONEERING SPOT ON THE LANDSCAPE.
OVER THE YEARS, WE GAINED MORE INSIGHTS INTO THE ORGANISATION, AND OUR WORK WITH RECRUITMENT, SEARCH AND TALENT ADVISORY BROUGHT YOUNGER LEADERS INTO SENIOR POSITIONS. OUR BUYING NETWORK AND TESTING SYSTEMS ALSO GREW OVER THE YEARS THROUGH HARD WORK. ENTRUSTING THAT LOYALTY TO THE ORGANISATION REALLY PAID OFF; OUR PLACEMENT AND ASSESSMENT NUMBER GREW TO OVER 7 700 AT THE LAST COUNT.
