Rik is the Global Head of MU Executive Interim and has been a consultant and leader at Mercuri Urval since 2001. He works closely together with committed MU consultants to deliver fast and outstanding solutions for clients around the globe, ensuring they receive the right Interim Leaders to meet their unique needs.
Rik likes to stay close to business and is an experienced ICF-certified Executive Coach with a passion for developing leaders and leadership teams.
Before joining MU, Rik served as an Officer in the Dutch Army for 12 years and held various management positions in the retail sector. He is committed to contributing to society by serving as a Chairman of voluntary organisations and as a member of an Advisory Board in the sports and education sectors. Rik graduated from the OCOSD (Military Academy) and earned a Master's Degree in Business Economics with a specialisation in Management Consultancy from the Free University of Amsterdam. He is fluent in Dutch (native) and English.
