Roger Hagafors, based in Stockholm, has been Chairman of the Mercuri Urval Group Board since 2016. He is also Head of Central Management for the company.
Roger is an experienced Board Member, General Manager and Executive Search Consultant who has successfully run and grown Mercuri Urval's consulting businesses for more than 30 years.
He started in Mercuri Urval as a consultant in 1983. In parallel to his work with national and international clients as an Executive Search Consultant and Advisor on Leadership and Business Development issues he has had the roles of Team Leader, Country Manager and Board member in Mercuri Urval Group.
Prior to joining Mercuri Urval, Roger had research assignments in Cognitive Psychology, Judgement and Decision-Making mainly at the University of Uppsala.
Roger was awarded a PhD degree in Psychology at Uppsala University 1981, where in 1986 he was also appointed as Associate Professor in Psychology.
