As Manager for the Danish IT Solutions team your main objective is to strengthen the IT Solution organisation in Eurofins Environment Denmark in order to be able to develop, implement and support the Eurofins applications. The IT Solutions Manager will be responsible for developing and leading the local Danish IT team of 8 specialists based in Vejen and Aabybro. The team is responsible for application support and maintenance, system administration and development of IT solutions.
It will be your responsibility to:
• take the role of project manager in different IT projects in Denmark, which includes backlog prioritisation and managing all phases of the project from conception to completion. 50-70 % of your time will be spent on project management.
• design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures – in close cooperation with both central IT Solutions teams and central IT Infrastructure teams.
• manage ongoing changes.
• prioritize and implement IT projects in a fast developing organization.
• take part in cooperation across the organisation (primarily Scandinavia).
You will work from the office in Vejen and cooperate across the organisation on 4 locations in Denmark (Vejen, Aabybro, Rødovre and Galten) and other countries, since you will be part of an international organisation. You should therefore expect some travel days.
Strong project manager with good business and IT understanding
You have a good business orientation and IT understanding and you are more a generalist than a specialist. You might have an academic IT background, and it is an advantage if you come from the manufacturing industry.
This could be your first role as a manager. It is expected that you have solid experience with development and project management as well as Scrum and Microsoft platform.
You are able to develop applications as well as the IT organisation trough your strong project management skills, your hands-on leadership style and your focus on improving ways of working. You’ll have the ability and interest in getting to know the details of the systems and projects. You are a great relationship builder, know how to navigate in a large organisation and have strong influencing and coaching skills. You work systematically with a good structure in order to ensure implementation and follow-up.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are important, and you are fluent in spoken and written English.
