Welcome Lotte Büchert to MU Denmark

By Robin Karlestedt Lotte Bütcher

We are very pleased to share that Lotte Büchert will be joining Mercuri Urval Denmark, where she will be a part of the Copenhagen-office.

Lotte brings more than 34 years of experience from the Danish upper-secondary education sector, including 15 years as principal and deputy principal. Throughout her leadership career, she has led complex change processes, strengthened governance structures and worked consistently to build cultures where trust, direction and professionalism go hand in hand.

Alongside her leadership roles, Lotte has built extensive board experience from Danish and international NGOs and sports organisations, including the National Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation of Denmark, DGI Storkøbenhavn and the Danish Outdoor Council. She has also served on boards within education, youth research, volunteering and anti-doping. This has given her strong insight into strategic leadership, complex stakeholder landscapes, organisational culture and the relationship between governance, responsibility and results.

We are very pleased to welcome Lotte to Mercuri Urval. She brings a rare combination of extensive leadership experience, strong values, deep governance insight and genuine curiosity about people and leadership. Lotte fits extremely well with both the way we work and what we want to create for our clients. – Team Director, Mercuri Urval Denmark, Carsten Gløvermose Nielsen

Lotte is currently completing a Master in Business Coaching. Her work with protreptics and values-based leadership has further strengthened her ability to help leaders reflect, create clarity and make courageous and well-founded decisions. We are confident that both her experience and her approach will bring value to our clients in recruitment as well as leadership development assignments.

“I am very much looking forward to becoming part of Mercuri Urval. MU combines an analytical, ethical and respectful understanding of people with solid leadership research. That matches both my values and my professional curiosity about leadership. I believe I can contribute meaningfully – while continuing to develop together with skilled colleagues.” – Lotte Büchert

Privately, Lotte is married to Jørgen and lives in Valby. Together they have four adult children and four young grandchildren. Lotte has an active life, often outdoors, with hiking in Denmark and abroad, parkour – including her own parkour setup in the garden – and many other forms of movement. She also enjoys opera and concerts.
