Sofacompany wants to further strengthen its business and management and is therefore looking for a development-oriented CTO that will focus on taking the company's global e-commerce business, efforts and technological competencies to the next level.

The job 
You refer to the CEO, are part of the management team and have the technical responsibility for the company's IT infrastructure and IT architecture, both in terms of internal systems/servers and the extroverted web platform. In addition, you have, across the organization, a close and dynamic cooperation with especially the COO, who has responsibility for all countries and sales & operations in these, including showrooms and logistics, and with the CMO, who has commercial responsibility for e-commerce and marketing.

Your team of 5 includes 1 "e-commmerce Development Manager" and 1 "IT Manager" who has 3 IT supporters in her team. 

The company's expectation for you as the new CTO is that you will be an active, committed and dynamic member of the company's management and the technology architect of the company's overall IT platform to best support the global e-commerce business. 

You drive the technological direction the company needs to move in and as a forward-looking leader, you ensure that your organization has the right skills at all times to identify valuable trends, locate opportunities, build and develop global platforms, and not least take Sofacompany's web platform/web development to the next level.

About you
You have a relevant educational background combined with several years of solid experience in management and e-commerce. You have gained your experience in similar roles and preferably from a related industry or alternatively from digital agencies or consulting companies. 

You are used to working commercially and customer-driven and have been responsible for several digital platforms that include both website and mobile as well as for performing integrations between complex business / IT systems. You very capable of identifying needs in the business and make / take responsibility for requirements specification, development and execution. 

Additionally, you have extensive experience in getting a number of systems to integrate (including API integrations) and work together so that the e-commerce platform works optimally. You are familiar with Google Analytics and have experience with Navision, Magento (or similar platform), Unix, MS Suite and Joomla and you need to have a good understanding of GDPR.

You are also used to working at the crossroads between brand new knowledge, creativity, critical sense and execution, and you manage in a good way to lead the team in the same direction, as well as get the company's overall strategy to play along with the entire technical platform. 

In other words, you can set the technical direction and manage and guide the many wishes of your primary stakeholders so that the right efforts are prioritized.
