Long-term expatriate assignment

Responsible for Indian operations, including navigating between the European headquarters and the Indian operation, and for end-to-end operational performance.

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Directly reporting to the local MD in India and to the Group COO in Europe, being responsible for 6 direct reports.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end operational performance of the Indian subsidiary with more than 1000 employees.
  • Ensure industrial execution, cost competitiveness, localization, delivery performance, and service excellence.
  • Improve industrial KPI performance and localization share.
  • Navigate and translate between stakeholders at the European HQ and the Indian operation.

Your Track Record

  • Proven track record in a senior operational leadership role as COO/VP Operations/Plant Director or similar in India or another emerging market.
  • Expertise is from heavy engineering or industrial equipment manufacturing. Experience with operations of 1000+ is an advantage.
  • Familiar with both manufacturing and service/after-sales environments.
  • Experience working in an international group environment with HQ in Europe and production in India or any other emerging market.
  • Background in the DACH region and fluent German skills are preferred.
