Partner & Director | MU Switzerland
It is the work with our clients that has kept me at MU for more than 25 years. I am driven by partnering with leaders and organisations on what truly matters: recruiting, assessing and developing the key people who shape the future of their businesses.
I have had the privilege of working long term with many Swiss-based and international organisations. Including ESA to support astronaut pre-selections and for 12 years with Airbus to select and develop executives and senior leaders in cooperation with their Leadership Academy. Leading strategically important leadership mandates and programs remains both demanding and deeply rewarding.
Just as important as my work with our clients, is MU’s culture. We combine world-class methodology and high professional standards with trust, collaboration and a genuine long-term perspective; with our clients and within our teams. The national and international exchange and shared commitment to quality create an environment where I can contribute at my best.
It’s this blend of meaningful impact, trusted relationships and a culture that truly lives its values that has made MU the right place for me.
A Commitment to Client Success and Strategic Partnerships
One experience that defines why I love working at MU is a high-stakes aerospace-/Industry mandate. Through executive search, we helped fill a critical leadership role in R&D — not just a CTO hire, it was a very decisive appointment for the company.
The difference wasn’t just methodology; it was partnership. Honest dialogue with the client, respect for candidates and a focus on long-term impact meant we clarified strategy, aligned the leadership team and ensured a successful onboarding. Years later, both client and executive still remember it and call it a defining moment.
This is what MU is about. Through executive search and selection & development, we deliver results that matter. Clients gain a trusted advisor, and the candidates experience a respectful, transparent process.
What excites me most is being at the intersection of strategy, people and trust; delivering excellence with curiosity, humility and commitment.
Innovating Leadership Development in a Global Context
One of the most exciting areas we work on is designing long-term Leader Development Program in fast-evolving global organisations.
A recent example comes from a global shipping and logistics company. The expertise was strong, but leadership practices varied widely and succession readiness was inconsistent. The executive team realised that future success required aligned, collaborative leadership.
Rather than a one-off training, we co-created a structured journey: leadership framework, executive workshops, assessments, coaching and cross-regional action learning tied to business priorities. Senior leaders actively sponsored the initiative, making it a strategic lever.
Within a year, collaboration improved, succession pipelines strengthened and leaders gained confidence navigating complexity. Leadership development became embedded in performance processes, turning it into a lasting program.
For me, the most rewarding part is the long-term partnership; seeing leaders grow, culture shift and success built on people.
