Tarmo Müürsepp, based in Tallinn focuses on developing the business of mid-size and large companies in Baltic countries, Russia and Scandinavia (including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Financial Institutions, Pharmaceutical companies, Transportation, Logistics, and Ports). Typical clients are Finnair, Vesta, Redeem, Swedbank, and Nord Pool Spot. Tarmo focuses on Executive Search, Talent Advisory, and Business Coaching such as assessment and development centres, and serves as an active member of Mercuri Urval´s solutions development. Tarmo started in Mercuri Urval in 1997.
Prior to joining Mercuri Urval, Tarmo served as Sales and Marketing Manager of Estonian Railways (passenger traffic). Tarmo was previously Editor in Chief of the Business section of one of the major Estonian newspaper Hommikuleht, later Eesti Päevaleht. Throughout his career, Tarmo has worked on both deal execution and on the human capital side of the business cooperating with senior managers and key accounts on ongoing strategic, financial, and operating issues.
After finishing his career in journalism, Tarmo contributed to local newspapers with his articles about management and leadership. Being actively involved in endurance sports himself, Tarmo volunteers in organising sports competitions.
Tarmo earned a Master of Journalism degree at Tartu University (Estonia), has taken additional courses at the London School of Economics and Svenska Social- och Kommunalhögskolan vid Helsingfors Universitet (Finland) and participated in tens of management/HR conferences in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, USA, UK, Germany and Scandinavia. Native Estonian speaker, Tarmo is fluent in English and has a good working knowledge of Russian and Finnish as well as a good understanding of German.
