Why Rainer Still Thrives at MU After 25 Years
I joined MU through a job posting for a management position with a client of MU’s. Although I didn't get that job in the final round due to another candidate with more industry experience. Instead, I got an opportunity to join MU.
I'm still here because, even after 25 years, I still enjoy my work immensely. I'm constantly collaborating with interesting companies and people. And above all, our assessment process excels at evaluating unknown candidates. Clients value the results and have trust in me. This has allowed me to acquire many clients over the years, for whom I still work with today.
Furthermore, I have a great deal of freedom in how I structure my work. I plan and organise myself, which perfectly suits my personality.
The Freedom and Support That Shaped His Career
MU supported me whenever I needed help, but at the same time gave me plenty of freedom to do my work in my way. For example, I once had a sales audit for which I didn't feel sufficiently qualified. However, I was able to turn to a colleague who had a lot of experience and organised everything perfectly. I really appreciate the freedom at MU, as it allows me to plan my own work and set my own priorities.
Driving Transformation in the Paper & Packaging Industry
Recently, I had an exciting project to recruit a Managing Director and a Plant Manager at a label manufacturer. The company had recently been acquired by an international corporation and is actually in a transformation process. My task was to fill both positions as quickly as possible. Thanks to my experience in the relevant market, I was able to get an overview of the candidate market and present the client with excellent managers. Just a few days ago, I received feedback that both sides are very satisfied with the outcome.
