ROCKWOOL Nordics are currently seeking a Business Development and Marketing Intelligence Manager to support their regional work, setting a new standard for running BD projects and providing key insights to take business to the next level.
Your Responsibilities and Tasks
Joining the Business Development & Insights team, part of the Marketing and Communication department, your primary role will be to look at every aspect from finance to CSR and sustainability supporting ROCKWOOL Nordics in innovating and creating value by converting data into intelligence and bright ideas.
The role will report to Head of Business Development & Product Management and be based at the ROCKWOOL Nordics HQ in Hedehusene.
As a Business Development & Market Intelligence Manager your main tasks will be to:
- Develop business, marketing, competitive and customer insights
- Support strategic decision-making by providing insights and inputs on opportunities and challenges
- Drive commercial and strategic projects in close collaboration with the management team
- Assess market and product potentials and develop business cases based on assessments
- Run marketing intelligence operations incl. newsletters and macro updates
- Support marketing and commercial teams with analysis and insights
- Elaborate and deliver effective presentations to the organisation’s management team
- Work closely with the Business Development team as well as across Marketing & Communication and ROCKWOOL Nordics as a whole
Your Skills & Experience
In this role, you will achieve success by overseeing and collecting data across a multinational organisation with a complex supply chain and subsequently seeing through it to spot opportunities and challenges.
To do that you are expected to bring a solid foundation with at least 2 years’ experience in business development, business opportunity assessment and market intelligence from a similar position in a large company or from experience in management consulting. You will have a relevant educational background in Business and/or Economics and ideally a Prince2 or related Project Management certification.
You are curious, quality-oriented and have strong analytical skills. You are able to convert new and existing information into clear, coherent recommendations, often with presentations, overviews and insights accessible to a range of stakeholders.
You also hold solid project and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to work across borders and levels in a large organisation and gain support and engagement around your processes until they reach completion.
You will ideally have experience working internationally across a range of markets (especially in the Nordics region) and it is essential that you are fluent (written and spoken) in English and at least one other Scandinavian language. You will also be open and flexible for occasional travel within the Nordics for collaboration with international colleagues.
