Stanley Black & Decker is looking for an experienced HR Manager with a strong commercial mind-set capable of tailoring HR services to support and strengthen the business.
As Nordic HR Manager at Stanley Black & Decker – a world leading tool and safety company, you will be responsible for supporting the Global Tools & Storage (GTS) business units in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland as well as the Stanley Engineering Fastenings (SEF) business unit in Sweden. You will become part of the Nordic Management Team referring to the Vice President for HR in the Northern region with a dotted-line to the General Manager Nordic. As member of the management team you will be expected to utilise your HR expertise to establish and sustain the organisation and people needed to fulfil the strategic business goals.
It is a hands-on role, where you will be working closely with Business Leaders, HR Business Partners and HR Subject Matter Experts. You will be providing advice to Managers in relation to optimizing their resources and organisation changes and will be responsible for the day to day management of all human resources activities within the business units including recruitment and selection, employee development, compensation and benefits as well as employee relations. Importantly you are ensuring alignment with local legislation across the Nordic countries as well as Stanley Black & Decker’s company values including diversity and inclusion policies. To drive a culture of high performance you will run appropriate talent management and succession planning, and you ensure timely internal HR related communication.
Hands-on HR Manager with proven transnational Nordic experience
You hold a master’s degree in Human Resource Management, or you might have equivalent management education combined with additional education within Human Resource Management. Most importantly, you have proven experience working with Human Resources in a transnational Nordic setting. You have probably gained your HR experience in a multinational sales organization, where you have become accustomed to a strong reporting culture as well as had hands-on experience with implementing corporate policies. As a person, you are effective, organised and enthusiastic - you are keen to make a difference and you are a clever communicator with strong influencing and negotiating skills. You are fully proficient in both spoken and written English as well as Danish and/or Swedish.
