Lead our client’s growth journey across the region, taking overall responsibility for the region’s commercial and operational success. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to build market presence, develop high-performing local teams, and capture significant growth potential in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Lithuania. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, sales-driven leader with strong steel-industry expertise and the ambition to make a visible difference in a dynamic international business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial and operational performance of the region, with responsibility for sustainable and profitable growth
  • Develop and execute a clear regional growth strategy, translating overall business objectives into effective local market plans
  • Strengthen market position and customer relationships across Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Lithuania
  • Build, lead and develop high-performing commercial teams, fostering a proactive, customer-focused and sales-excellence culture
  • Drive organizational development and change across the region, strengthening local capabilities and establishing a proactive, competitive and customer-focused commercial organization
  • Identify new business opportunities, drive revenue growth and increase market share in priority segments
  • Establish clear objectives, performance follow-up and disciplined execution to deliver regional growth and profitability targets
  • Represent the business internally and externally, building strong relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Proven commercial leadership experience within the steel, construction or related project-driven industry
  • Track record of leading and developing high-performing sales or commercial teams, ideally across several countries or business units
  • Strong P&L ownership and the ability to translate strategic priorities into profitable, sustainable growth
  • Solid technical-sales credibility, combined with a strong understanding of complex customer and stakeholder environments
  • Willingness to travel across the region (Germany, Czech Republic, Poland and Lithuania)
  • Commercial education or an equivalent relevant qualification
  • Fluent English and German, with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; Polish and/or Czech language skills are advantageous
