EURO-DIESEL has the most reliable DRUPS power solutions globally and works with some of the most prestigious clients worldwide. They have recently undertaken a new strategy that involves a heavy investment in the North American operations of E1 DYNAMICS Inc. to bolster their growing sales team and promote exponential growth for the United States, Canada and Mexico. As a part of this strategy, they are seeking a West Coast Regional Sales Manager who will operate out of a home office and who will be responsible for driving sales in the West.
In this highly impactful sales position, you will be reporting directly to the President of E1 DYNAMICS and indirectly to the International Business Development Director for EURO-DIESEL. You will work closely with the technical project leaders offering you resources to push the solution sales processes forward in an effective and efficient manner. You will be tasked with growing the sales for the west coast by proactively engaging the market to develop an expansive sales pipeline.
Create and execute an all encompassing business development plan for region including new client development.
Proactively source for new customers and develop a sales pipeline for the West Coast market for new equipment sales.
Develop relationships with end users, consulting engineers and construction contractors through advising them on the technical advantages of EURO-DIESEL’s Uninterruptible Power Supply systems
Manage the full life cycle sales process from initial interaction through price quotations and sales close.
Work effectively across different departments (Engineering, Service and Corporate Management) to ensure efficient sales support, quotation, and the delivery of the best overall sales proposals during final negotiations on a project opportunity.
Participate in the annual sales and marketing planning to provide suggestions of new marketing items, exhibitions to participate in, and travel cost estimations.
Manage multiple stakeholders and develop relationships across varying levels of an organization to drive long-life cycle sale.
Stay up to date on developments and activity in the industry to ensure E1 DYNAMICS stays on the forefront of market opportunities. This includes involvement in trade fairs and industry conferences.
Maintain continuous contact with global leadership on reporting and activity.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of direct outside sales experience
- 8+ years total work experience; preferably in construction, power distribution or capital equipment
- Experience with contract negotiation and a strong record of closing sales contracts
- Excellent communication skills
- Financial acumen
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Experience with any of the following:
- Electrical manufacturing (highly desired)
- Electrical Power Generation (highly desired)
- Electrical Distribution Equipment (highly desired)
- Heavy Industrial Machinery
- Capital Equipment
