Martin Struve is Senior Consultant in the Hamburg office and advises his clients in particular in the areas of Executive Search, Management Audits and Executive Outplacements. His industry focus is on the energy industry, professional services with a special focus on the TIC industry and the maritime industry. With his additional functional specialisation, he fills HR, Finance and Sales & Marketing positions across all industries.
Prior to joining Mercuri Urval, Martin Struve was Head of Recruiting at a leading global certification and classification company, where he advised management on the selection of internal executives during the merger with a competitor. In addition, he was responsible for employer branding and, as a project manager, transferred all recruiting services to a shared service centre in Poland. Subsequently, as HR Manager and member of the international management team, he was responsible for the realisation of a comprehensive reorganisation. He has several years of experience as a consultant in renowned recruitment companies and as branch manager of a medium-sized, owner-managed company.
Martin Struve is a member of the Renewable Energy Hamburg Cluster (EEHH) and part of the internal Mercuri Urval Task Force "International Energy Value Chain".
After commercial training and successful studies in presentation techniques and media presentation, he did an internship at a TV- production company and completed a trainee program at a German premium car manufacturer. In addition, he is a certified HR Manager at the Technical University Deggendorf/Haufe Akademie and a graduate of DNV GL's European Management Mentoring Programme. He speaks German and English.
