Benedikt Börner, based in Düsseldorf, is a member of Mercuri Urval's Finance sector (especially M&A transactions) and the Industrial Manufacturing Sector where he focuses on both large corporations (i.e. DAX-30 constituents) as well as small and medium sized firms (i.e. family-owned Mittelstand). Benedikt has successfully undertaken Executive Search, HR Due Diligence and Talent Services.
Prior to joining Mercuri Urval, Benedikt started his career in procurement at a television production company in Hamburg. While studying Business Psychology in Munich, he began to work for an executive search company, specialized in the Life Science sector. For his master thesis, he joined Mercuri Urval and analyzed the usage and need for HR Due Diligence in medium size companies.
Combining his master thesis, as well as his focus at Mercuri Urval, he frequently composes articles about the awareness of human capital within mergers & acquisitions.
Benedikt holds a Master degree in Business Psychology and is fluent in German and English.
