Rik Zuidmeer, based in The Netherlands, is Head of International Business in MU’s International Leadership Team. Rik is overseeing MU’s Industry Practices and work closely with all its Practice Leads in order to provide our clients with high-qualitative solutions for their Executive Search and Premium Talent Advisory needs. He likes to stay close to business and has vast experience working with clients in Professional Services, Industry and International Public Sector.
Before joining Mercuri Urval, Rik worked as an Officer for the Dutch Army for 12 years and in the Retail sector in various management positions. Rik finds it important to contribute to society by acting as a Chairman in voluntary organisations and member of an Advisory Board in the sports and education sector.
Rik graduated from the OCOSD (Military Academy) and earned a Master's Degree at the Free University of Amsterdam: graduated from the Faculty of Business Economics with a specialisation in Management Consultancy. Rik speaks Dutch (native) and English.
