The new Engineering Director is key to the ongoing succesful transformation towards becoming a modern technical organsation that continues to take pride in setting the best standards within its industry. The Engineering Director will take responsibility for all poultry related engineering in Denmark and is directly responsible to the CEO.
As Engineering Director you will run an organisation consisting of five managers, 50 people in all within engineering, R&D, technical support and SW engineering.
Purpose and responsibilities
The goal of the engineering departments in BAADER Poultry DK is to enhance the existing product portfolio with strongly standardised products and hold this focus from discovery - via proof of concept - to the final product within new development.
You will manage the identification and development of new products together with product management and the sales organisation.
The Engineering Director will play an active role in collecting market information for inspiration to ideas that will keep BAADER Group at its top position within poultry processing equipment.
The Engineering Director has the overall responsibility for formatting and developing new machines and solutions and will build up strong teams that are able to manage very complex engineering and R&D projects.
Your have experience leading an engineering and/or R&D department from a large international project-oriented organisation. You have in-depth knowledge about machine engineering and different development methods. You can create and drive a structured approach to engineering based on market requirements.
The position will be based in Trige, and you can expect 30-40 travel days per year.
