The position
As the new DPS Manager Operations you will have the responsibility to lead the development of DeLaval’s Production System within Supply Chain and support the entire organisation. There will be a mix of strategic work, such as implement DeLaval’s global ways of working, hands-on operational leadership and sharing best practice. It’s important for the company to further develop and to increase the pace of the implementation.
You’ll will as DPS Manager Operations work, together with the local DPS responsible person, with all levels of the organization. You will be a member of the Global operations Management team and you will report directly to VP Operations.
Key Responsibilities and deliverables:

Lead the development of DPS (DeLaval Production System) within Supply Chain and support entire DeLaval

Implement DeLaval’s global ways of working (Training – implementation – monitoring)

Share best practice of Lean (leadership and tools)
Your qualifications:
-
Several years of experience from Lean management and Lean transformations
-
Strong personal operational experience within Lean management, preferably from the manufacturing industry

Ability to lead the global DPS work through the network of local resources reporting to Local Factory and Warehouse Managers

Thorough knowledge of all aspects of production and logistic processes

Solid technical background

Strong communication and training skills

Able to conceptualize and think creatively

Able to identify, analyze and solve problems
-
Ability to travel (60+ traveling days per year)
You need to be fluent in English. Good skills in Polish, German and Swedish a strong merit.
