In this role you will focus on the manufacturers within the B2B food industry, and we are searching for a candidate with a high drive, that is ambitious and proactive. About the role:

The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales with a combined focus on the Swedish market but also focusing on new opportunities in Norway and Finland. You will be developing existing business and customers, but the main challenge will be new business development and active sales development. Furthermore, the role will entail:

• Conceptual development based on for example market trends and insights
• Acting as knowledgeable technical advisor to customers 
• Close collaboration with core suppliers and being key contact for selected suppliers
• Continuously maintaining and developing the product range and the pricing
• Mapping and targeting potential new customers
• Participating in events, seminars, trade fairs, exhibitions etc

Who are we searching for:

As a person you are independent, and you have a natural eager and curiosity for targeting and pursuing new market opportunities. You are creative and know how to utilize different paths to develop your market. One important part of your efforts will be to enforce Alsiano’s social media strategy with a strong presence on social platforms and you understand the value in cooperation closely with core suppliers and other partners. Long-term relationships are key to success.

Your profile:

You have minimum three years commercial experience and experience within technical sales - B2B.
Preferably you have a relevant technical background for example as Product Developer or Product Manager with expertise/background from the food engineering industry.
You are strong in developing sales and long-term relationships as well as being a strong communicator both in English and Swedish.

Place of work:

The position is based at Alsiano AB in Göteborg (Billdal) with flexible home office. Annual travelling activity will be approximately +60 days per year.
