Petra Bezemer graduated in Orthopedagogical Science at The University of Leiden. Man and its development have always been her special attention. In her working life she applied this in practice. She has been advising Mercuri Urval clients in connecting their people with their strategy by solutions that are tailored to fit their culture, business processes, needs and requirements since 1996. Her focus is on business coaching, (executive) assessments, capability review and strategic recruitment & selection. She is an expert in the area of talent management. To build a successful company one needs to manage two important factors: performance and talent. The employees themselves also have to take responsibility in developing their own potential and performance.
From 1990 – 1996 Petra worked as a HR Officer at NBBS Travel (Leisure, Travel & Tourism): she was HR responsible for the Sales Division (150 p) in a fast developing environment. Her responsibilities were: translating the strategy of the company into the HR strategy, development and implementation of the defined instruments; being a sparring partner for the Sales Management Team; planning of personnel; (re)structuring of the sales organisation after extensive growth of the company and collaboration with Post Offices; etc.
From 1989 – 1990 she worked at Content (Temporary Employment Agency) as a consultant. She was responsible for the sales results within her own budget. Fields of expertise: recruitment and selection of temporary employees; leading several projects as setting up a call centre from scratch on by putting in re-entering employees; acting as the dedicated consultant for a strategic client as Shell concerning their flexible workforce.
Petra Bezemer graduated (MSc) in Orthopedagogical Science at The University of Leiden.
During her career she followed several training programs and courses, including
MBA Strategic Management and Consultancy (NCOI) and Co-Active Coaching (Mercuri Urval Academy).
