Director Steen Gravers joined Mercuri Urval in 1998 and is currently working within the private sector area in Eastern Denmark. He works with a variety of clients and is also responsible for the business area "Life Science" where he, in addition to solving problems and running projects, manages Mercuri Urval's consulting and skills development within the segment and ensures that the company is always ready to match the very changeable conditions of the Life Science market. Typical customers are SMEs and affiliates as well as major international companies with global recruitment needs.
Before joining Mercuri Urval, Steen was an officer in the Royal Danish Navy and served among others as a Commanding Officer of a warship and as Head of the Department of the Navy Tactics School.
Steen is today still active in the Navy Reserve, now with the rank of Commander Sr. Grade and a split function as Special Advisor to the Chief of Navy Staff and the Chief of the Navy Reserve Strength.
Steen originally trained as an officer of the line in the Navy, supplemented by higher officer training 1 and 2, staff training, general staff course and shipmaster education. He is also a trained and certified business coach.
