Jeannine started in 2008 at Mercuri Urval in Germany as an International Business Consultant. Prior to Mercuri Urval, Jeannine was working for a communication consulting firm and started her career in HR Consulting at a boutique consultancy focusing on HR Strategy, Organisation Development and Change Management.

In 2013 Jeannine took over the Country Manager role for Mercuri Urval in Singapore and was leading the Southeast Asian region until 2017. Her focus was on developing and growing the team and business in Southeast Asia by providing first-class Executive Search and Talent Advisory solutions to predominantly European companies. She has successfully placed and evaluated Senior Leaders in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia and Vietnam, as well as Japan, Korea and China.

Since January 2018 Jeannine is back in Germany as one of the Directors at the Düsseldorf office. Helping clients to grow sustainably in emerging markets, especially Southeast Asia, remains one of her focus areas. Furthermore, Jeannine supports her clients in improving international leadership capacities and ensuring that their global business yields solid results.

Jeannine has Indonesian-German-Dutch roots and holds a PhD in International Politics from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and studied Japanese at the Nihon University in Tokyo. She conducted field

research projects regarding political transformation and regionalism in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Jeannine is a native German speaker, fluent in English, and speaks some French, Japanese and Bahasa Indonesia.
