Objectives of the position

  • Management and implementation of the Marketing Communication strategy including digital content marketing and optimising processes, e.g. e-commerce and e-shops concepts, SEM, SEO, MAM, PIM etc.

  • Development and implementation of the Brand strategy in order to strengthen the company’s image

  • Customer engagement by interacting with customers, partners and stakeholder while providing personalised, convenient information

  • Development and active nurturing of the Marketing Communication within the organisation according to the development and of the company’s business operating model

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Analyse the market trends, understand customer behaviour, -challenges and -needs regarding marketing communication

  • Support all marketing communication activities at primarily EMEA and local level to ensure that the bottom line targets are delivered

  • Support international product launches and image campaigns

  • Monitor the Marketing Communication costs and budgets in regard to balance long- and short-term initiatives

  • Lead and further develop the Marketing Communication teams

  • Closely cooperate with Group IT for the implementation of digital tools ensuring project technical feasibility and maintenance

  • Provide marketing tools for sales, distribution partners and customers such as training materials, web sites, fairs, webinars, digital and traditional communication toolkits

  • Develop together with the lead countries the strategy and enable the team to manage customers engagement supporting the creation of adequate contents and the generation of leads as well as customer retention with digital and classical Marketing and Communication tools

  • Lead or co-lead digital transformation projects that are connected to Marketing Communications and customer engagement

Your skills

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration / Economics of an international university

  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in a digital and classic international, decentralised marketing organisation in an industrial environment

  • Strong focus on marketing automation, digital media, cross channel campaign management, personalisation, data management and analytics

  • Deep understanding of the marketing and advertising technology as well as the digital agency landscape

  • Experience with analytics techniques and technologies and in using ad tech and marketing tech platforms

  • Ability to plan, lead, and execute campaigns and programs across classic and modern media, strong project manager

  • It is of advantage to be familiar with SAP, CRM, C4C solution

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Fluent English and German language skills (oral and written)

  • Willingness to travel
