Realize the planned revenues growth for temperature monitoring solutions, increase the market share and make a direct contribution to corporate development

Responsibilities and tasks

  • You set strategic and operational priorities in consultation with your direct superior VP Global Sales
  • As part of the Global Berlinger Sales Team, you build business by continuously identifying and closing Sponsor and Pharma opportunities for Hardware and Software in the key markets Cold Chain Pharma and Clinical Trials, promoting Berlinger SmartView API for Clinical Trials
  • You are responsible account manager for key IRT partner and pharmaceutical companies on global level
  • You prospect, build and maintain relationships with customers and partners within defined areas of responsibility and focus
  • You generate and share leads for other Berlinger global team members
  • You maintain, share, and contribute to Salesforce CRM database accuracy and development
  • You organize and attend approved trade shows and other events
  • You arrange “on-the-ground” customer support & trainings during pre- and post-sales processes
  • You capture market insights and customer requirement for Berlinger’s group marketing and R&D departments. You facilitate customer dialogue by internally representing the voice of the customer
  • You understand and follow regulatory requirements, technical and legal

Your skills

  • You are trained in business administration and have a pronounced technical affinity. Alternatively you have a natural science or engineering degree in combination with a passion for commercial topics
  • You can look back on at least 5 years sales experience in the relevant market with proven sales track record
  • You are used to and act confidently in international, multicultural environment and demonstrate high respect for diverse cultural and religious backgrounds
  • Due to your excellent business development skills and strong business acumen, you have a good network in the European clinical trial industry
  • Readiness to go the extra mile, learn new skills, courage for change as well as high personal integrity are your most remarkable characteristics
  • Your outstanding communication skills enable you to manage complex buying centers with multiple stakeholders
  • You are able to communicate excellent in English, a good command of any further European language is an asset
  • You are highly familiar with modern office management and other software / communication tools
  • You are willing and able to frequently travel in Europe
