Die Position

Your role

 

  • You are acting as a trading interface between a vast variety of existing global suppliers and customers of above mentioned region (from converters to end-users), as well as your local partners (distributors, agents) and your own offices and warehouse facilities all over the world.

  • You are offering a high standard of technical know-how, support and after sales service and are flexible to meet the customers needs, rising to every challenge presented.

  • You will be able to act self dependent, effectively managing all commercial aspects (e.g. pricing, risk analysing) as well as taking care of the appropriate logistics together back-office team. Responsibility for your business lies with you.

  • Due to your local market analysis you are able to identify trends, requirements and new opportunities to boost business in your region.

 

 

Ideal candidate

 

  • A goal focused, passionate, proactive salesman, who demonstrates strong analytical and commercial ability to flexibly interact with a wide variety of stakeholders to deliver maximum ROI.

  • We are looking for candidates with minimum 2-3 years similar sales / commodities trading experience. Experience/knowledge in the Paper and Board business is preferable.

  • Good understanding of international trade processes including trade finance, letters of credit, logistics / shipping documentation and processes

  • Mature personality with intercultural knowledge within above mentioned region

  • Fluent in English, a good command of German is a plus

  • Team-player with hands-on mentality placing cooperation and respect over hierarchy

  • Willingness to travel (about 30%) long distance and availability outside standard working hours
