ROCKWOOL Nordics are currently looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Marketing Director to promote the ROCKWOOL brand in the Nordic market and dynamically grow the market share and profitability for their products and systems.
Role Responsibilities and Tasks
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for setting the brand vision and marketing strategy that complements ROCKWOOL’s market situation. You will do this by defining the product portfolio, shaping the digital engagement platform, and delivering high ROI programs in line with customer needs and regulatory framework.
Your team will consist of the entire marketing and communications function, more specifically Business Development & Insights, Product Management, Marketing & Digital, Technical Services, Communications & PR and Public Affairs.
You will develop strong and comprehensive offerings to grow sales, market share and profitability in key channels, working closely with key customers in all sectors. Furthermore, you will drive a systematic product management process, ensuring that the product portfolio is maintained to offer fresh, relevant and fit for purpose solutions to bring priority new products and systems to market. You will also focus on boosting ROCKWOOL’s digital messaging by introducing state of the art digital offerings to customers.
As the main point of contact between Group Marketing and Nordics Marketing, you will represent ROCKWOOL Nordics in international cross-group projects. You will also be the face of the brand towards external agencies, legislators, trade and lobby organisations, and drive those relationships to influence market conditions and opportunities. Lastly you will be a visible person on various PR and marketing events to position Rockwool Nordics as an innovative and sustainable brand in the building industry.
Your Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have 10+ years of marketing experience within B2B organisations, preferably large production companies, with at least 3 of these years in a similar marketing leadership role. You will have a broad marketing background covering key areas such as local and regional strategy implementation, market insights and data analytics as well as marketing finance and value-based pricing. You will be confident using both traditional and digital channels and have strong, hands-on experience in Product Management.
In addition to your extensive commercial experience, you will be a dynamic leader with strong interpersonal skills, who is able to drive, motivate and develop a diverse regional team, located in different countries, to grow capabilities, deliver results and exceed targets. Bringing business acumen and a cross-functional, commercial perspective, you will have strong prioritisation skills and mix a strategic overview with a hands-on approach.
Since this is an international position, you will be experienced in working across a range of markets and have a strong commercial and cultural understanding of the Nordic region. A high professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential, but additional fluency in any of the Nordic languages would be a strong plus.
You will have the chance to operate flexibly in a successful global organisation, becoming an important part in implementing and contributing to significant improvements on company level. You will work in an environment of trust within an ambitious organisation and will join a historic brand with strong presence, growth objectives, and focus on sustainability. Furthermore, you will be empowered to shape the skills, location and capacity of the team.
We look forward to hearing from you
