Richard is a highly experienced consultant who focuses on senior level leadership Selection, Coaching and Management Due Diligence adopting a very business oriented approach.
With over 20 years of experience within Mercuri Urval Richard has been involved in the sourcing, selection, development and coaching of Sales, Management and Executives across a range of clients in the Manufacturing, B2B, Professional Services and VC/PE sectors. In the last few years Richard has led the Professional Service sector team, focusing on Legal, Accountancy and VC firms and their Portfolio clients, through the delivery of projects varying from MDD, Internal/ External Selection and Coaching at Executive/ Senior Management/ Partner level. He also had extensive experience within the B2B sector working with mid sized businesses bringing a very business oriented approach to helping clients implement their strategy through people.
Prior to joining Mercuri Urval Richard has held a number of senior managerial roles within Finance and Education. Outside work Richard is an active sports enthusiast being involved in playing Tennis, Squash and Golf as well as taking on some serious walking challenges (up to 40 miles can be covered in a single day!).
