Lesley manages relationships with some of Mercuri Urval’s largest clients, leading senior level capability review and coaching programmes and providing unique strategic insight into the people challenges faced by large corporates.

In Lesley’s 4 years at Mercuri Urval she has worked with larger B2B organisations in planning and implementing transformational change programmes, defining people strategies across a wide range of leadership roles within the disciplines of marketing, sales, delivery, product management and business development, predominantly in the IT Services marketplace.

As a coach, Lesley’s specialist focus is on maximizing individuals’ career paths to allow them to achieve personal aspirations within the context of their capabilities. Lesley has formally and informally mentored a number of senior executives in key positions within large corporates during significant periods within their careers. She has followed them across various organisations (BT, Inmarsat, EDS, Egg, Qinetiq, smaller Start Ups) and continues to advise on career direction and personal goals.

Lesley’s commercial background allows her to relate closely to the needs of large organisations who need to underpin their business processes with a solid people strategy that achieves maximum return for the business and the individuals alike. A graduate in International Marketing and French, Lesley began a career with BT and worked in their global division in roles spanning marketing, sales and  business strategy, culminating in the leadership of two large strategic transformational programmes for the organisation. She has also run her own consultancy business and owned a country house hotel. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is qualified in Level A/B CIPD psychometric training.

Outside work Lesley is happiest skiing down mountains or sailing the Norfolk Broads with her husband Peter and two young children, Kate and Leo. In quieter moments she enjoys watercolour painting – though very much at an amateur level!
