Julia Stubbs Hughes

Candidate Manager

Julia’s role as a Candidate Manager involves developing the Mercuri Urval brand and our reputation with candidates and clients. In addition to these tasks she oversees the day to day operations of the London office. Julia provides a first point of contact for candidates and clients, in regards to their experience with Mercuri, and remains a link for candidates throughout the interview or assessment processes.

Julia is a graduate in Theatre from Manchester Polytechnic and joined Mercuri Urval in December 2010. She previously worked for 8 years in a City based recruitment consultancy who recruited for both the corporate and creative sectors. There she was involved in candidate and client liaison activities, as well as office management and project administration.

In her spare time, Julia writes and directs theatre projects. To date her productions have been performed at international festivals, in the West End and on the fringe in London.
