Having been with Mercuri Urval since the late 80's, John has extensive advisory experience in supporting and coaching Board and Senior Management teams in building and developing the right business leadership capabilities.

He works closely with both FTSE companies and SMEs in the Technology, Engineering and　Energy sectors. He has also been involved in several start-ups, recruiting and coaching senior management teams.

John is a graduate from the Universities of Nottingham and Durham. He is married to Jackie and lives in Central London where they are both highly involved in a thriving local church. They have 3 adult children all of whom share a passion for the ski slopes and holidays in Polzeath and Corsica. John is an avid ball sports fan, playing cricket and tennis and retains his Cheshire roots by following Crewe Alex.
