John Egil Mæland (born 1948) holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and completed further management studies in the USA. He has been employed by Mercuri Urval since 2001. In recent years, John Egil has focused on the recruitment and selection of senior management and industry specialists to the oil and gas sector at both a national and international level. In addition to facilitating work processes and competence mapping, John Egil is engaged in leadership and organisational development projects.
Prior to joining Mercuri Urval John Egil gained broad experience at senior management level in the fabrication and process industry and drilling and well services. Furthermore, he has extensive experience from delivering consultancy services in management, supply chain management and business development. He has spent 5 years in The United Arab Emirates, The Netherlands and in Scotland.
