As an occupational and organisational psychologist, Margriet started her career in the Royal Dutch Navy and was involved in the scientific development of selection tests for stressful jobs. After that, she spent a number of years as the Director of HR for a group of companies in media, graphics, IT and publishing industries. In this role, she gained a lot of experience in the preparation and effects of radical and complex business transformations: from sales and takeovers to business closures and bankruptcies. This experience, combined with over 10 years of expertise from working at Mercuri Urval, makes her added value palpable for (international) profit and non-profit organisations.
Her passion lies with the person within the organisation and especially with the question of how to keep these people moving, as individuals or groups, in a way that allows the organisation to develop, change and excel. She has a special partiality for performance management, guiding teams and individuals, organisation development problems and assessments.
