Peter Gijbels

Peter Gijbels has been a Business Consultant at Mercuri Urval for 16 years. He fulfilled different roles such as part time Training Manager for Mercuri Urval Belgium and as Business Manager of Hasselt. 

He gained his experience on a national level in a wide variety of sectors, such as the industry, the building trade, car industry, media, hospitals and family businesses. He has also been in charge of a number of international assignments, over the past 2 years in Poland and the Czech Republic for instance. Due to his years of experience he is fully qualified in recruitment and selection, including on a general management level, individual coaching, team development, change projects on a small scale and for entire organisation.

Peter trained as a Master in Pedagogical Science, which he complemented with an Accountancy and Finance graduate. Before he started to work at Mercuri Urval, he was responsible for business development and account management for SMEs in the banking sector, and then he became a Commercial Director in the building industry.

 Peter occupies his time with intensive sports and his 3 active children. He is also fascinated by culture, music and reading about the business world and society.
