Sam Deguara

Sam DeGuara joined Mercuri Urval in November 2010, having worked in generalist in-house Human Resources over the last 5 years. Sam has worked in a variety of industries, including, Financial Services, IT, Healthcare and Professional Services across Sydney and London.

Sam’s passion is in understanding a problem and identifying a solution that adds value to a business in directly contributing to the bottom line. He believes identifying tangible business outcomes is critical to maximise the investment in people.

Sam’s experience covers generalist Human Resource and Learning and Development roles, with a commercial focus on; identifying and delivering recruitment needs, employee attraction and engagement strategies, identifying talent initiatives, HR Systems, as well as performance management and development. Sam understands the importance of providing service excellence while constantly striving to identify best practice HR initiatives.

Sam holds a Bachelor in Business, having majored in Human Resources & Marketing, obtained from Australian Catholic University. Since joining Mercuri Urval, Sam has been supporting a large recruitment project working with a large international client.
