Edward Turvil

Edward built a reputation as an exceptional project manager, working in Europe and the Middle East prior to moving to Australia in 2008 to commence a career with Mercuri Urval. He has 10 years experience in roles requiring high levels of leadership, general management and project management. His success has been driven by his combination of exceptional interpersonal relationship building skills and an analytical, organized and disciplined approach to projects designed to achieve tangible business results.

Edward has previously been employed as a Strategic Human Resources Manager responsible for implementing strategy, change management and organisational development. Edward has broad experience of identifying solutions and planning and implementing tailored capability building and organisational development projects. He has extensive experience in developing capability frameworks and assessing individuals and teams against these frameworks to identify the capability gap. Edward is able to make recommendations on the interventions required to enable people to realise their potential.

His experience in project management includes the responsibility for the delivery of simultaneous projects within tight time, quality and logistical parameters. These projects have included implementation of new policy, preparatory work for deployments and organisational development, for multiple divisions within large enterprises.

Edward is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, an institution that has global recognition as a world leader in leadership and management development. Edward holds a Bachelors degree with honours in Science and Business from the University of Kingston-Upon-Thames and Grand Valley State University, Michigan USA. He is a qualified Project Manager using the PRINCE2 methodology. He has other qualifications in training and human performance development.
